Colors by llarowe Hot Summer Nights

Tilasin Hypnotic Polishilta kasan kynsilakkoja ja ensimmäisenä kynsille päätyi tämä upea Colors by llarowen Hot Summer Nights tämän kesän kokoelmasta. Kuten useimmissa Colors by llarowen lakoissa upeus tulee ilmi auringossa kun shimmer ja holot ja väriefektit pääsevät esille. Hieman pohdin miksi näin tumma viininpunainen lakka on kesäkokoelmassa, mutta haitanneeko tuo! Ylempi kuva on otettu suorassa auringonvalossa, jolloin lakan kauneus pääsee esiin. Alemmassa kuvassa lakka on varjossa, jolloin se on kaunis, joskaan ei yhtä upea, viininpunainen. Levittyvyys on erinomainen kuten aina, ja peittoa löytyy, kuvassa kynsillä on kaksi kerrosta.

I ordered a bunch of polishes from Hypnotic Polis and I decided to try this gorgeous Colors by llarowe Hot Summer Nights from this years summer collection. As usual this polish is at its best in the sunlight when the shimmer, holo and colour effects show in full. I wondered why so vampy dark red is in summer collection but so what! Picture on top is taken in direct sunlight so you can see the best side of this polish. Second picture is taken in the shadow when it's beautiful, but not as gorgeous, wine red. The polish goes on extremely well and coverage is good, I have two coats on my nails in these pictures.

Pink and Purple

Sain Born Pretty Storelta testiin tällaisen hienon stencilin (mikä ihme se on suomeksi?!) ja halusin käyttää sitä liukuvärikuvion tekemiseen. Olen aika aloittelija näiden stencilien kanssa kuten kuvasta näkyy, mutta harjoitus tekee mestarin! :) Ongelmana on tosi kaarevat kynteni, joista stencil irtoaa todella helposti lakkauksen aikana. Pohjalla on käytetty valkoista Essencen Colour Boosteria ja liukuväri on tehty a-Englandin The Blessed Damozelilla ja Orlyn Gidgetillä.

I got this nice stencil from Born Pretty Store for a review and wanted to do gradient nails with it. I'm really a begginer with stencils as you can see from the picture, but practice makes perfect! :) Problem is my super curvy nails which makes it difficult to keep the stencil on the nail for the whole time. Base is white Essence Colour booster and gradient is done with a-England The Blessed Damozel and Orly Gidget.

Diamond

Nfu Oh 39

Kesällä haluaa kynsien kimaltavan kilpaa auringon kanssa ja flakielakat ovat siihen juuri sopivia. Nfu Oh:n flakiet ovat lajinsa parhaimmistoa, aivan upeita! Tämä Nfu Oh 39 on todella kaunis sinisenä ja vihreänä hehkuva flakielakka, joka on parhaimmillaan mustan lakan päällä. Kuvat eivät tee oikeutta lakan upeudelle!

In the summertime I want my nails to shine in the sun and flakie polishes are just the polishes to do that. Nfu Oh flakies are one of the best flakies there is, just gorgeous! This Nfu Oh 39 is really beautiful flakie which shines in green and blue. It's at its best on top of a black polish. Pictures do not do justice to this gorgeous polish!

Oriental

I got these gorgeous golden nail stickers from Born Pretty Store for a review.I immediately wanted to do oriental inspired nails when I saw these. IsaDora Emerald Crush

Tosi kesäistä lakkaa tähän väliin... :D IsaDoran Emerald Crush on sokerilakka ja sokerilakat ovat helppoja, nopeita kuivumaan ja peittävät hyvin. Täydellisiä "en ehdi lakata kynsiäni mutta haluan silti näyttävät kynnet"-lakkoja siis. Emerald Crush on musta lakka joka kimaltalee sinisenä ja vihreänä. Tekstuuri on erinomainen, levittyvyys todella hyvä ja kuivuu hetkessä.

Really summery nails as you can see... :D IsaDora Emerald Crus is a sugar polish and sugar polsihes are so easy to use, dry fast and cover well. So they are perfect "I don't have time to do my nails but I still want something flashy on my nails"-polishes. Emerald Crush is a black polish which sparkles in blue and green. Texture is great, covers very well and dries extremely fast.

Gold Glitter

Kesään kuuluu turkoosi ja kulta, ja sitähän kynsille päätyi. :) Oma ihonsävyni ei suurimmasta osasta kultalakoista tykkää, mutta Models Ownin Disco Heaven on viileä kulta joka sopii myös meille kylmemmänsävyisille. Kultaglitterin lisäksi siinä on sinistä hilettä. Pohjalla on Ciatén Ahoy Sailor joka on kaunis turkoosihtava vaaleansininen.

Summer needs turquoise and gold and that's what ended up in my nails. :) My skin tone usually does not work well with gold polishes but this Models Own Disco Heaven is a cold toned gold which works well with the cooler of us. It also has blue glitter in it. Base is Ciaté Ahoy Sailor which is a beautiful turquoise light blue.
